Purchased for just in case situations. Hopefully I’ll never need to use them. Put one in the kitchen, one in my mother-in-law’s kitchen, 2 upstairs and one in the garage.

I saw this type of fire blanket advertised somewhere else for 25k each. These FireSpotex are the same as the expensive ones, but for a much more reasonable price.
They are 39 by 39 inches and come packed in a heavy duty canvas bag. The bag has instructions for use on the outside, a sturdy ring hole for hanging and has 2 straps attached to the blanket designed for fast release of the blanket.
I bought one for the kitchen, boat and a back bedroom. These are large enough to cover a flaming skillet, a small child, a pet or draped over an adult’s head and shoulders. Good purchase.

I (luckily) have not had a fire yet so i have not technically used them for their purpose.
I have however used them as a fire blanket while “sweating” copper plumbing pipes in the walls of my house and they worked well to protect from fire while using a propane torch.

This blanket is perfect to keep in the kitchen or camper.
If you have a grease fire (or other fire for that matter), just open and put the blanket over the fire and it smothers the flames.
